Haawal Engineering was founded in 2016, with the goal of finding new solutions for a changing climate.

Flooding has become a global problem, occurring more frequently while aIso being more destructive. With the knowledge that simple solutions can have an enormous impact, Haawal started developing a mobile flood protection system: Flood Grating.

We started by talking with countless people involved with floods. Through these conversations we gained valuable insights that were used as we started building prototypes. After 18 months of development and continuous testing, Flood Grating was finally ready to meet real floods. The first container of Flood Grating left our factory in Norway, on its way to our first customer in the middle of May 2018.

Simple solutions are more than just simple products, which is why we are committed to making it as easy as possible to understand, and to get started with Flood Grating.
